My, or shall I say our, life plan is constantly adapting to new circumstances. There’s nothing like being pregnant to make you evaluate where you are and where you want to be. Here are 10 things on my mind this week:
One. Happy International Women’s Day! Last year I ran 10 miles just because and this year I am creating and holding a little human inside of me. We women are amazing–don’t let anybody tell you otherwise!
Two. Temperatures this week will reach 70. If that’s not a reminder that spring is upon us, I don’t know what is. Being a summer baby and all, I just love the warmer weather. Except at Christmastime–I like snow then.
Three. Who said buying a home was easy? Oh no one, that’s who. We’re still deciding whether buying or renting is a better option for us. Stay tuned.
Four. I’ve gained an embarrassing amount of weight so far in this pregnancy. I’m hoping it doesn’t affect Baby’s or my health. I really am trying to eat healthy but I think my first trimester carb overload and my overall love of sweets has outweighed my healthy eating and exercise.
Five. My brother is visiting friends in Prague and it brings back memories of when I studied abroad in Barcelona. Amazing food and times. I’m a lucky gal.
Six. We’ve been invited to five weddings this year. I think I’m forgetting one somehow but yikes- that’s a lot. To me, anyway.
Seven. I get to see my girlfriends two weekends this month and it makes me happy.
Eight. The stroller model we want to buy is being discontinued to make way for the more expensive 2016 model. No wonder it’s been disappearing from our registries.
Nine. While brushing my teeth last night before bed, I realized I haven’t dyed my hair in almost five years. Yet I have streaks of different shades of brown in my hair, which I love. Highlights without chemicals? Win-win if you ask me.
Ten. There are just 117 days until my due date. Time is flying!

It really is amazing how stressful buying a home can be. It will be a while before we buy again. Good luck to you guys! 🙂

I gained 11 pounds in one month during my first pregnancy, but ended up only gaining 30 the entire pregnancy. Don't loose heart, Mama!
