*For those of you who don’t know, LDR = long distance relationship.*
This Valentine’s Day was as good as it gets when your other half is 5,000+ miles away. It started off with a $30 Starbucks gift card from my awesome aunt and uncle.
And continued when I arrived home to fruit AND flowers waiting for me at the front desk from T. The crazy guy says I have more presents on their way. He spoils me despite me telling him not to.
We then hopped on Skype so T could open his presents from me.
I got him something I KNEW he’d enjoy: Famous Dave’s Variety Pack. Famous Dave’s is his favorite BBQ chain and we’ve only ever had it when we visit Michigan so I figured it’d put a smile on his face.
I also got him a Datevitation book, my favorites of which were:
And then we watched the last episode of Season 1 and first episode of Season 2 of this AMAZING show.
Three hours of Skype later, we said our good nights and went to sleep. Needless to say, my happy, love-filled heart went to bed very content. I enjoyed Valentine’s Day more than ever before, which is pretty cool considering my Valentine and I weren’t even physically together 🙂
And now I’m going to enjoy my day off . . . Happy President’s Day!
I finished Season 2 of House of Cards last nigh and oh goodness it gets better! 🙂
