Dear self, keep it together. No need to have a crying fest over something (distance) you can not change.  This is the situation you knew you’d be in 2 years ago, so suck it up, girlfriend, and get strong again. We’ve only got 1/3 left of being in an LDR to go! 🙂

Dear neck, why must you have a “bunch” of bulging disks?!?! Just when I’m getting super fit, my body is taking it out on me and I don’t know what exercise routine I’ll be able to do. I am so scared I will get out of shape and gain weight but I really should take it easy before I do something irreparable to my spine.     Today I am blogging about a philanthropy that’s dear to my heart just because it’s amazing: the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon.
    Taken from its website, thon.org, “The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately known as THON, is a yearlong effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer.  Since 1977, THON has raised more than [$100] million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital . . . The mission of the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is to conquer pediatric cancer by providing outstanding emotional and financial support to the children, families, researchers, and staff of the Four Diamonds Fund.  FTK! [For the Kids!] . . . THON 2013 [took] place from February 15th-17th, 2013 at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center.”

    Helloooo Week

    Weekends always go so quickly. I have a love/hate relationship with time passing quickly, because (a) who doesn’t LOVE weekends? BUT (b) my long distance relationship with T is contingent upon countdowns so the faster time flies (while we’re apart, that is) the fewer days there are til we see one another.
    Speaking of countdowns, ours is looking mighty fine:
