Can you tell I’m excited by my all caps post title? Because I am. Today, we are headed upstate to Lake George. It’s not really a babymoon, per se, because we’ll be with other family members but it is our last trip before Baby L is born. Crazy, huh?
Since I am very pregnant now (as opposed to being just 14 weeks along when we went to the Bahamas), I am packing some slightly different things that I normally would:
Mosquito Repellent: I don’t want to get bitten by any bugs… I’ve been worried about the Zika virus since before we went to the Bahamas in January.
Sunglasses: A pair are always packed for sunny vacations so I just had to include them on this list B-)
Shaving gel: My thighs have grown a bit during this pregnancy so keeping my razor bumps down has been a challenge. I am hoping this will help since I normally just use soap when shaving.
Sarong (similar): I have a burst of cellulite on my thighs and it is my least favorite part of my body right now.
Of course, it’s always important to remember why we have this long weekend. It’s to honor and celebrate those who gave their lives for us. Our country’s a better a place because of them.
