On a brighter note, my baby bump is growing at a lightning speed. It’s a tricky thing–getting used to your expanding body while loving the reasoning. I’m seeing numbers on the scale I’ve never in my life seen and it’s scary. Of course, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. I just tell myself I’ll work my butt off postpartum and I’ll try to have more control next pregnancy.
Daylight Savings has not been kind to me.
Happy St. Patty’s all! Years ago, I celebrated this day with debauchery. Today, not only am I pregnant but I’ve been sober for two and a half years and I’ve never felt better. However you choose to celebrate– have fun and be safe!
Now that I got that off my chest, I want to talk to you about a more lighthearted topic–swimsuits. I can’t remember the last time I wore a one-piece swimsuit. If I had to guess, I was elementary school-aged. My best friend’s bachelorette is a few weeks after my due date, though, so this summer it will be time to step into a one-piece.
