I’m so cheesy, hence the title of this post, which was also my insta hashtag for the beach photo. I couldn’t help myself though. The weather this weekend was amazing. It felt like summer and that’s something I’m 100% a fan of. The beach was packed and Tim and I adventured all weekend long.
 
This past weekend, I also came to the conclusion that we could still “Live Aloha” here. Why does location matter when living aloha is a way of being? (Sidenote: props to my husband for finding the above Hawaiian restaurant here!)
 
I’m going to make more of a conscious effort to enjoy whatever time we have here because it’s such an amazing city. I suggest you do the same wherever you are because beauty is everywhere.

It really is a shame the weekend lasts only two days though…

Humpday

Wednesdays are a great day of the week.  Not only are they good at work because we have a break in the trial schedule but they’re good on here because they’re usually filled with lots of wedding posts. (That’s not what I’m posting about today, though.)

Wednesdays are also great because it means the weekend is closer than it was on the dreaded Monday. Unfortunately, Monday just isn’t popular among people … 

Luckily for us, we don’t have to wait for the weekend or any day in particular to have these views. Luckily, we just need to open our living room blinds and ta-da!

I’m more than a little excited for temperatures in the 70s this weekend. Tim and I are determined to go to the beach. Fingers crossed.

This is the look a happily married couple who filed taxes as said married couple for the first time. 

That’s also how we feel about it being Friday. 
But that’s now how we feel about the weather outside. It’s technically the first day of spring … but it’s chilly and cloudy outside.  We want this 60-70 degree weather back, pleaseeee:

A Chirish Weekend

Happy St. Patty’s Day! My family was in this past weekend and it was the best ever. We already can’t wait to see each other for Easter. I’m lucky to have such a funny and loving family. 🍀

The weekend was a blast, especially because once again the Chicago River was dyed green. The weather was beautiful–the temperature actually went up to 73 degrees yesterday! If you haven’t been yet, I suggest you come see the Green River at least once. It’s been my favorite St. Patty’s tradition to date.
