In honor of International Women’s Day yesterday, I ran 10 miles. It was my first time at a distance over 6.4 miles. I was getting bored at mile 8.4 but I pushed through to finish at 91:49 running time, plus a break to fix my sock and a break to switch my knee brace from one knee to the other. Needless to say, I am hurting (the good kind) a bit today but proud of myself. Who runs the world? GIRLS!
And now I’m about to get serious. I was speaking with a co-worker a bit ago about kids and how they change your life. She told me to do it all now, because although life doesn’t end with kids (some might argue for them it truly begins), it dramatically changes. So…
