Happy May! I probably say it every year but this year really feels like it’s flying.
This past weekend, Mr. L and I attended a former coworker’s traditional Indian wedding. There was no shortage of delicious food and fun wedding activities going on. I wasn’t sure what to wear but upon researching online and asking the groom, I learned that modest cocktail dresses and gowns would suffice. As for the traditional Indian attire, especially the embellished saris, they were simply stunning.
On Friday night, we checked into our hotel, got ready and went to the Sangeet. It was a fun dinner party, at which family and friends of the couple dance for them. This is what we wore:

Saturday afternoon consisted of the wedding ceremony. I opted for a bright-colored dress since it was daytime and the saris worn by guests would be colorful, as well. Outfits #2:

I have to admit–getting dressed up multiple times was fun as a pregnant lady. I have always enjoyed dressing up but I was especially happy to showcase my baby bump in something other than leggings or maternity pants and tunics.
